Licensed Veterinary Technicians

Our staff of nearly 50 employees strives for the best in personal attention to you and your pet. Al elite group deserves distinction and further explanation-our veterinary technicians. We fully comply with an under enforced New York State Llaw that requires anyone performing the duties of a veterinary technician to be licensed by the state. These individuals must get a college degree and then pass a board certification examination to become licensed. Their professional status was preceded by extensive training in patient care, surgical preparation, dental hygiene, anesthesia and laboratory analysis. Most of our technicians have decades of experience and almost all have spent their entire careers at our hospital. We ALWAYS have licensed veterinary technicians in the building, during every open hour- a claim few hospitals can make.

Veterinary Assisstants

Most Veterinary Assisstants are aspiring young veterinarians or technicians, exploring the field and getting paid to do what they love most: help animals. These caring folks keep patients clean and comfortable. It is hard work but it would be difficult to find a more satisfying position for these animal-lovers. Every veterinary health care professional starts here.
